Barry served in the U.S. Navy from 1987-2007 as a Machinist retiring as a Chief Machinist. He has been a member of Post 943 for 9 years, Post Commander since 2017 and previously served as Jr. Vice Commander.

Ron is a retired USN Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman (FMF) primarily serving Marine units throughout his career. He is a VFW Life Member and has served as Junior Vice Commander at Post 1924 in Fallbrook, CA and as Adjutant for Post 943.
